Paula loves Cuba really, deep down

...PAULA WEAKENS TO A TROPICAL STORM...ADDITIONAL WEAKENING ANTICIPATED AS THE STORM HUGS THE NORTH COAST OF CUBA...MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS 70 MPH…

At least somebody’s getting a hug then. Sounds like there was a Big Falling Out. Paula has relented somewhat. She was all wound up to flounce off and slam the door, but Cuba said Hey, daaarrlin’…….   in that tone of voice, and she found herself slowing up, just a leetle, leetle beet, and in that moment the real fight left her.  She’s still doing 70 mph, but with another purpose in mind altogether. She is definitely grumpy, but thinking of ways to get all the mileage she can out of this one. She could keep it going for days yet, until poor Cuba wishes he’d never got involved. Can’t be doing with her theatrics, but can’t do without her either. It would never rain, for one thing.

I think I should stop that one right there.

I have no idea where it’s going.

Dread to think.   And I only came here to tell you Holiday Babe is safely home.
